Office of the Prime Minister

The Head of Student Government at Waterdown District High School. The prime minister chairs the Cabinet, and has the power to appoint new members.
The prime minister is expected to maintain a good working relationship with the Principal of WDHS, as well as foster positive school spirit.

Cabinet (Ministers, Secretary)

Deputy Prime Minister - Acts as the prime minister when he/she is unable to perform their duties. Assists the prime minister.

Minister of Finance - In charge of monitoring the finances of the Student Parliament.This position requires 100% attention, and cannot come second to any other club or sport's team at the school.

Minister of Events - In charge of coordinating all special events within the school. This position requires 100% attention, and cannot come second to any other club or sport's team at the school.

Minister of Public Relations - Coordinates all school-wide announcements, posters, and other media (including media within the Waterdown/Hamilton community – i.e. Flamborough Review). This position requires 100% attention, and cannot come second to any other club or sport's team at the school.

Minister of Warrior’s Den - In charge of managing the affairs of the Warrior’s Den. This position requires 100% attention, and cannot come second to any other club or sport's team at the school.

Parliamentary Secretary - In charge of writing up (and posting) minutes for each Student Parliament/Cabinet meeting. This position requires 100% attention, and cannot come second to any other club or sport's team at the school.

WDHS Student Senator - Represents the interests of the WDHS Student Parliament on the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board Senate.

In charge of attendance and discipline within the Student Parliament. This position requires 100% attention, and cannot come second to any other club or sport's team at the school.
