Our current Member of Parliament (since 2006) is David Sweet.

On September 20th, 2021, Canadians will be asked to vote for the candidates in their ridings that they want to represent them in Ottawa. Once elected, these representatives become Members of Parliament.

After the election, a government will be formed out of the Parliament elected by Canadians. The Governor General will be asked to invite the political party (or parties) that are able to command the confidence of Parliament to form a government. The leader of that political party (or coalition of parties) will be appointed Prime Minister.

Who ran in our riding?
